A rare transit/of some of the main moons of Jupiter, will take place for

observers with telescopes on the night of January 23rd/January 24th 2015.

As Jupiter nears opposition in February, lucky observers with small to

large telescopes, will witness a rare sight. Io, Europa and Callisto will

have their shadows cast upon the disk of Jupiter at the SAME time……

This is quite rare and this event provides observers an opportunity to see

all this, in a small telescope.

Begin your observations, at least 30 minutes before the time listed on the
